Trias strives to be a learning organization: on an individual, team and organizational level. With each other, our partners, our target group and also with our other stakeholders.
In order to achieve this, Trias has developped its own planning, monitorring and evaluation (PME) system: PLATS. This stands for Planning, Learning en Accountability System of Trias.
The Trias PME system focuses on how PME can support the organizations management and engage stakeholders in understanding impact and progress, learning from achievements and problems, and agreeing on how to improve both strategy and operations.
The main functions of PME are:
• ensuring improvement-oriented critical reflection;
• learning to maximize the impact of development programmes;
• showing the impact to be accountable
• improving coordination within the organization.
Managing for change in Trias involves four interrelated functions:
• guiding the overall organisation strategy;
• creating a learning environment;
• ensuring effective operations, also at the partner level;
• developing and using the PME system.
Trias also exchanges knowledge and experiences between partners and Trias regional teams from different regions in the South, between the different departments at the Head Office, between partners in North and South.
In short, we want to make a connection between working and learning, in order to better our processes and the results of our activities.
