Member based organizations

Trias is closely linked to six member based organizations (MBO) in Belgium: the rural organizations Landelijke Gilden, KVLV and KLJ and the entrepreneurial organizations Unizo, markant en Neos.

Those organizations are represented in our Board of Directors. Also, our communication and part of our fundraising is oriented towards those organizations. These MBOs provide us also with advise for our work in the South and together with them, we work on broadening solidarity towards development cooperation.

These six grassroots movements from Trias in the North have grown from and have been built with respect to smallholder agriculture and small-scale entrepreneurship, just like many partners in the South.
We try to use experiences on movement building, community building, specific services etc in a sustainable international cooperation and exchange with similar movements in the South.

North-South advisors within Trias maintain the relations between Trias and each movement.
