Ka-entrep organises ‘Starters Day’ for entrepreneurs
Inspired by Unizo, Ka-entrep organised its first ‘Starters Day’ in Manila. Starting entrepreneurs could get to know everything about setting up a small business.
Ka-entrep, a Philippine partner of Trias that supports micro- and small entrepreneurs, organised the event, in cooperation with SM City North Edsa and Media Partner Business world. More than 700 participants received information and advice on doing business.
The participants got an overall picture of the available services for starting entrepreneurs, such as training in business management, technical assistance, protecting intellectual property and accountancy support. During advisory sessions, the 'entrepreneurs to be' could reflect their ideas with experts.
The Philippine Starters Day is based on the successful Starters Day organised by Unizo in Belgium.
Unizo wants herewith provide information and advice to anyone desirous to set up an own business, in order to increase the chance of starting a successful business. In the frame of its partnership with Unizo Westhoek, a delegation of Ka-entrep visited the Starters Day in Bruges. There, Ka-entrep gathered the necessary inspiration for introducing the concept in the Philippines.
