Trias Tanzania currently works in three different programmes together with twelve partners to improve the life of over 37,000 people. The programmes focus on local economic development, food security in the Mufindi district and food security among the Maasai pastoralists in the Longido district.
Our partner FIDE offers non-financial services such as farmer management, crop diversification and production or marketing. She also organises agricultural production units. Mviwata Manyara and Mviwamo are part of the rural Mviwata network of farmer groups, which are focussed on empowering groups, improving communication, supplying of information and advocacy.
In the Longido district, these partners work together with the Maasai: LCDO (Longido Community Development Organisation), PWC (Pastoral Women Council), TNRF (Tanzania Natural Resource Forum) and UCRT (Ujamaa Community Resource Trust).
